The Augustine

The Monastery restaurant has 90 covers and overlooks a large courtyard with outside seating during the summer months. Guests will have the choice of two bars; Tom’s Bar, located in the monastery’s former barrel-vaulted double-height hall and The Brewery bar, housed in the cellar, in the former St. Thomas’s brewery building, complete with 17th century stalactites and stalagmites. For relaxation, the hotel’s spa will feature four treatment rooms, a hammam offering special heat treatments, sauna, steam room, relaxation area and an 80sqm fully-equipped gym. Guests will also be able to enjoy exclusive tours of the Church’s magnificent private library. The Classic Suites measure on average 54 sqm. and incorporate a queen-size bed or twin beds. The suite offers the added luxury of a separate bedroom and lounge and has been designed combining elegant, contemporary features and characteristics borrowed from the Czech heritage. The Classic Suite features a view of the city to the Lesser Town or the monastery courtyard and features individually-controlled air-conditioning, spacious working desk with a telephone line, as well as high-speed internet connection. Guests will benefit from facilities such as a well-stocked In Room bar and snack basket, flat-screen television with international TV channels, pay TV, internet via TV, I-pod docking station, CD/DVD player, portable professional hairdryer, 100 linen sheets with anti-allergic pillows and blankets upon request, and plenty of storage space.
