Balbirnie House is situated in the village of Markinch in Fife; approximately half way between St. Andrews and Edinburgh. This wonderful Georgian mansion (built in 1777) is set within a 416 acre country estate and is widely recognised as one of Scotland's finest Grade A listed historic houses.
