Park Hotel

Located near the Rijks Museum, this hotel overlooks the Lido and Holland casino complex and the Hard Rock Cafe. It is only a short walk from the well-known Leidseplein with its terraced restaurants and it is within walking distance of all major tourist attractions.

This is a traditional building which stands out from the rest of the surrounding buildings due largely to its predominantly green roof and its shape and size.
The completely renovated lobby has various areas, one incorporates a lounge with comfy furniture and a fireplace and serves a snack menu, the other is the library which has volumes of books and magazines as well as a wifi corner and a communal reading table and then you have the reception. all decorated to a very high standard. Again, like in the restaurant, floor to ceiling windows give this a very bright and airy feel but it is still very warm and inviting.
The restaurant has been completely overhauled and is now located in the front of the hotel. It is very bright with floor to ceiling windows, a modern, Italian decor and serves a very extensive breakfast. For dinner, the restaurant has a fusion Asian cuisine of top class standards with a fully open kitchen and comes highly recommended and for lunch, you can get bento boxes.
The rooms are medium in size but have all been renovated in 2008 to a very high standard. They are now modern in design but also traditional, with a warm colour scheme, modern features e.g. plasma televisions, and power showers and designer beds. The bathrooms have also been renovated and are in excellent conditions. Some rooms command pleasant views overlooking the Vondelpark.
